KH Sinister: Zexion's Final Illusion

The cloaked schemer was becoming bored of the daily routine in the Organization. With his luck, he'd be sent out for recon, right? wrong... he had actually been given the opportunity to join the party sent for Castle Oblivion. The blue roan haired male sighed deeply and shook his head, as if knowing not to ask questions "Fine... just give me the details and I will be on my way." he held out a hand. Of course, Saix handed him the paper containing the information. Zexion fell silent some, reading over the information "So... we have to take Sora out of the picture.." he spoke low, yet audible. Folding up the paper, he placed it in his poket and went on his way, opening a dark rift to Castle Oblivion... quite unaware of the actual situation.


Upon his arrival, he could already sense that things were going terribly wrong. The tension rushed through his nerves, as much as he didn't want to go inside, he had to... little did the boy know, that this castle... would also be his resting place. He approached the large doors and opened cautiously, keeping a vigilant eye out while beginning to explore the inside. He glanced around as he made his way through the floors "Something is not right here..." he had a haunch. It wouldn't be long before trouble found him, he paused upon picking up a scent "...wait ...!" he sharply turned to look behind him, quickly jumping out of the way at the last second. Axel had launched an infernal Chakram towards Zexion, the result; it stuck to the floor where Zexion should have been. Zexion took a gasp as he realized how close he was to being struck "Are you mad!?" he asked, angered yet shocked that the pyro would result to such hostility.


An even bigger surprise behind Axel? a familiar keyblade pointed towards Zexion's direction ".... you know too much, don't you.. Zexion.." a soft female voice spoke from under the hood "Xion... w-what are you talking about..." his voice cracked as he began to crawl back. The two started to approach him, knowing he had ties to Xemnas and would likely report back in a snap. Zexion had nowhere to run, as the duo began an array to try and eliminate him. Axel tossed both Chakrams, fully englulfed, Xion cast Blizzaga. As Zexion tried to dodge, he became frozen in place by the spell, while the two Chakrams both scaved and caused burns to his coat and body. His cries of pain rang through the hall, once he was able to escape, he began to fight back, trapping the two in a temporary illusion as he made a break for it. He panted as he went a few floors down....


He couldn't believe it... did he get sent to his doom? was he the next target to be terminated here? he couldn't let that happen. Holding a hand to the hole in his stomach, he began to cough up red... it had impaled him terribly deep, to the point where he was on his hands and knees and couldn't stop coughing up blood. Splattered in front of him with each cough, eventually, Xion and Axel had found him. Zexion looked back at them, scared to the bone, each with their weapons ready.. the end was very near for the cloacked schemer. He crawled to the door to go downstairs, as fast as his body would allow... but it wasn't enough.. he felt something impale right through him. He felt the warm blood run from his body... he looked down to notice the Chakram sticking out of him. His eyes began to dilate as blood now poured from his mouth, not even able to speak as he gave his last words through his thoughts... ~I won't.... make it back..... superior....~ he fell to his side as a Thunder spell, from Xion, jolted and electrocuted his body, the Chakram acting as a conductor. A pool of his own blood.. is what he laid upon.... Zexion struggled to even breathe now.. each breath made him weaker.. and weaker.. he realized this was going to be his final resting place... the last illusion of his life he'd see... now ... gone.
